LOOKYLOOKY BORDER COLLIES

The Pups I kept, Juice and Zing are now 14 Months Old on 1st and 4th May respectively. Where has that time gone? Here is a photo of all the dogs I have today. Unfortunately, I lost Chase and Acer during 2010. Until we meet again .

Wow what a start to the agility year I have had. Did a couple of UKA shows to get going and Whoosh Won 2 Classes and Crack Won 1 Class and then won 1 Grade 5 Jumping at Wallingford Show. Whoosh also had a second place in Grade 5 Jumping

Then I was blown away at Kernow weekend, Darling Whoosh went and won the Novice Olympiia Qualifier making him Grade 6. Wow!!! He also got a 5th in the Graded 4 to 7 Jumping

So what a fabulous start to 2011 I have had. Mind you things didnt always go the way I wanted, particularly with quite a bit of crap handling from me. Poor Whoosh and Cracker. Thank god they are forgiving.

To report on the pups they are coming along superbly. Their weave training is going well as is their contacts. They will be 14 months old in a few days. That is amazing where the time has gone

Thats all for now. Hopefully I will be doing some obedience shows soon

What a fantastic year I have had from a competitive point of view.

I tried to balance my obedience and agility work, though I ended up doing more agility shows than obedience shows.

Firstly in my Obedience, Whoosh and Foxy winning their B classes and have gone C Only. Sassy winning her A classes and going B and C.

Acer has only competed in a couple of classes this year which has been very disappointing as he ripped a nail and it became infected and he had to wear a collar for 8 weeks so virtually a whole season wasted from a competitive point of view.

With regard to agility wow what a season I have had. I have been placed many many times, but darling Whoosh won 3 jumping classes in grade one, then he won an agility class, putting him into grade two then at dogs in need week he won two agility classes making me grade 3.

Clever Whoosh

Crack settling in nicely and got a 2nd in a jumping class in grade 2.

Foxy has had quite a number of places and at Dogs in Need week Emma Peachey ran Foxy and she gained 5th place, 12th place, two 2nd places and was in the Final of the Classic Tournament and came 2nd. Well done Emma and Foxy.
